IP (Ingress Protection) is a standard used to evaluate the degree of protection that electronic or electrical equipment provides against solid objects and liquids. The IP rating is represented by the format "IPXX," where the two digits indicate specific levels of protection.


The first digit reflects the degree of protection against solid particles, ranging from 0 to 6, with higher numbers indicating better dust resistance. The second digit refers to protection against liquids, ranging from 0 to 9, with higher numbers indicating the ability to withstand greater water pressure and longer exposure.


Most construction machinery controllers require an IP67 rating due to the following reasons:


Dust Prevention

 An IP67 rating means the device is highly resistant to dust. The "6" rating signifies complete protection from dust ingress, ensuring the internal components operate without interruption.
